Watered down
A Modular Airborne
Fire Fighting System-equipped C-130 Hercules from the 153rd Airlift Wing
follows a U.S. Forest Service lead plane and performs a training
mission that includes water drops May 10, 2013, near the Medicine Bow
National Forest in Wyoming. When it is determined MAFFS-equipped
aircraft are needed, the National Interagency Fire Center requests the
Defense Department’s Air Force resources through U.S. Northern Command..
