GULF OF OMAN (June 15, 2013) An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the "Blue
Diamonds" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 146 launches from the flight
deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) before taking off.
Nimitz Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of
responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security
cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Enduring
