Marines
and Sailors visited the 2nd Marine Division training center in Camp
Legeune, N.C., July 17 as part of an open house to show them the
Unmanned Aircraft Systems that they would be learning to use in combat
and training. The training center is now home to the newly established
Group I UAS Training and Logistics Support Activity (TALSA).

heritage flight that included two F-86 Sabres flanking an A-10
Thunderbolt II demonstrated the proud heritage of military aviation over
the past 60 years at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., Aug. 24, 2012. The

the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) to reload

U.S. Marine Corps body
bearers prepare to the fold the flag that laid over the casket of Henry
H. Black, seventh sergeant major of the Marine Corps, during his funeral
ceremony at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., Aug. 29. Black passed away
in his home in Fredericksburg, Va., Aug. 24. He served in Korea and
Vietnam and earned a Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Combat
