OF BENGAL (Sept. 22, 2012) Sailors assigned to Riverine Squadron 2
(RIVRON) 2 and Bangladesh navy sailors assigned to Special Warfare
Diving and Salvage Command (SWADS) ride in a rigid-hull inflatable boat
during a non-compliant boarding exercise. SWADS and RIVRON 2 are
participating in Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2012.
CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy
and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia,
Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor Leste. (U.S.
